Bobbi Barber, MS, LMHC, BCBA, PMH-C, CCTP

My work integrates behavior science, emotional and relational therapy, and sensory-informed care - so we aren’t just talking about change, we’re creating it. Many of the individuals I support carry tender histories - mother-loss, attachment wounds, grief, trauma, relational struggles, identity disruptions, or neurodivergence - while simultaneously entering new roles such as divorce, break-ups, familiar struggles, pregnancy, postpartum, adulthood, caregiving, or leadership in their families.

That intersection is where emotional overwhelm often emerges, and where they desire informed, comprehensive care.

My clinical qualifications:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Perinatal Mental Health Specialist (PMH-C)

  • Clinical Certified Trauma Professional(CCTP)

  • Published Author - “Autism, Adolescence, & Adulthood,” and “Take This From Me”

  • Continuing Education Provider - Behavior Live

What working together looks like:

  1. Understanding What’s Happening - identifying patterns, triggers, and responses

  2. Build Regulation & Awareness - tools to cope

  3. Create New Patterns of Thought and Behavior - strengthening your capacity and agency

emotional preparation for parenthood

We work on two levels at the same time:

Internal Work

  • Thoughts, emotional responses, and belief patterns

  • Nervous system and sensory experiences

  • Past experiences and learned responses

External Work

  • Behavior patterns and habits

  • Communication and relational dynamics

  • Practical strategies to respond differently

This combination creates change that is both meaningful and measurable.

How I Work: Internal + External Change

Emotions, thoughts, behavior, and environments are constantly interacting—and when we look at the full picture, patterns stop feeling random or out of your control.

My role is to help you understand how these pieces fit together so that insight turns into action, and change feels possible even in the middle of hard seasons.

I don’t believe therapy happens only inside your head.

I work with those who are navigating:

  • emotional overwhelm

  • relational and communication challenges

  • identity shifts and life’s transitions

  • pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting

  • grief, loss, and adjustment

Who I Work With

You don’t have to do this alone.

Having someone who sees the whole picture and stays with you through it matters.
